T is an interruption inside the glass tunnel that connects the exhibition rooms of MACRO. It is a cork, a throbbing organ, a playful pink shape that moves in a winding way through the building. For the artist, it feels like a chewed bolus obstructing the throat.
She is not visible, but the public can sense her presence through the movement of the sculpture, animated from within by her actions. From inside, she pushes the structure first to the right, then towards the lift, making it undulate along the length of the tunnel. The museum corridor is temporarily blocked and visitors are redirected via the stairs, generating a new route, a new circulation of bodies. In this way, the work treats the museum as an expanded, extracorporeal anatomy: passages become vessels, the public moves like blood, and the institution itself is experienced as a living, permeable body.
